“The best outcomes in therapy are most frequently achieved when both client(s) and therapist have a clear focus or goal, shared understanding of the problem(s) to be addressed and a successful working relationship."
During our first session together we will begin to examine what you would like to accomplish in therapy. I would like to encourage you to spend a few moments before our session thinking about what you hope to gain as a result of therapy, what might be different in your life if we were successful, what behavioral changes you hope to make and what you think might be important for us to look at as we begin our work together. I would also encourage you to ask questions of me about the therapeutic process during our first session.
If you have a life threatening emergency, please dial 911 or get yourself to the nearest hospital emergency room.
